This is a quick recipe of how to make a Paneer Wrap
Recipe:
Makes 4 wraps
Gravy
In a pan, add 1 tsp of oil, add in roughly chopped 2-3 onions, 1 small cup of soaked cashews, 5-6 cloves of garlic + 1 inch of Ginger paste, saute until brown, add in 4-5 roughly chopped tomatoes, let it cook for 8-10 mins. Blend it into a fine paste after cooling down.
You can buy ready made paneer(Cottage Cheese), cut it in 1 inch cubes – approx. 200 gms.
Final Mix
Take a pan, add 2-3 tsp of ghee, add 1 tsp of whole cumin seeds, a pinch of Asafoetida, 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tbsp of red chilli powder, 2 tbsp of cumin powder, immediately add the blended gravy, let it come to a boil, add very little water if required, add 2 tsp of garam masala powder, 1 tbsp of kasoori methi, stir it well. Add paneer and mix it well, add 1 tbsp of full cream and put the flame off.
Condiments and toppings
Take red chutney, add a bit of water to make the right consistency.
Cut 2 onions into thin slices, add salt and lemon juice as per taste.
Wrap
Lay tortilla wrap, spread the red chutney, in the centre, lay some onions, lay the paneer mix, wrap it, toast lightly and serve hot.
